What makes Harry's on Buderim the perfect setting for your wedding reception?

Harry’s is a fine dining restaurant housed in a Heritage listed 120 year old timber cottage.  It nestles on the edge of a rain forest, surrounded by trees and lawn.  There are suitable areas for ceremonies adjacent to the restaurant as well as the rotunda on the boardwalk which winds through the rain forest.

Harry’s is divided into a number of rooms with a wrap around verandah.  The maximum capacity of the restaurant is 70 people for a sit-down meal on the verandah and 120 people for a cocktail style reception.  This requires exclusive use of the restaurant.  For more intimate weddings, the “Fire Room” is available and seats up to 40 guests.

Room hire charge may be applicable for small private room weddings of 40 guests or less.

Entrée course can be replaced with your choice of 5 canapes.

Terms and conditions

  1. There is to be no confetti, uncovered flame or sparklers, rice, loose flower petals, table decorations containing liquids or party poppers are to be used for decoration. Any intended decorations must be approved by Harry’s management.  All decorations must be removed from the premises at the end of the event.  There is to be no fixing of posters etc. to the walls of the restaurant by means of drawing pins, sticky tape or similar substances without consent of Harry’s management.
  2. There are restrictions on the use of the courtyard and Harry’s management will have to be consulted.
  3. All breakages of furniture or equipment will be charged to the hirer.
  4. All menus are to be finalised 2 weeks prior to the event.
  5. Prices are subject to change and notification will occur.
  6. A deposit of $ 1000 is required to secure the booking of which $500 is non-refundable if booking is cancelled 6 weeks prior to the date in question.
  7. No tentative bookings will be held for longer than 5 working days  and we reserve the right to take a confirmed booking for the date in question if the tentative booker is unable to be contacted for consultation within this time.
  8. 20% surcharge on public holidays.
